Danielle Lapointe is a Montréal based filmmaker mixing a cocktail of comedy and drama in film and on the web. Since graduating with honours from Concordia University's BFA Film Production program, Danielle wrote, produced, co-directed and starred in the comedy web series "Shooting the Moon". Covered by CBC Arts and IndieWire, "Shooting the Moon" was an Official Selection at NYC WebFest, Hollywood WebFest, Toronto WebFest and RioWebFest, garnering nominations for "Best Canadian Story", and "Best Comedy Writing". Danielle's short fiction film "2 Days of Freedom" is presently in post-production. Danielle is currently writing her third short fiction film "8 hours til Shania", which has been selected by SODEC as part of the "Jeunes Créateurs" scriptwriting program.
